It is easy to add pulses to your diet. Some quick ideas include:
- Include lentils when cooking your rice (you will need additional water).
- Sprinkle canned chickpeas, beans, or peas on top of your salad.
- Include lentils or chickpeas in your favourite soup, stew or casserole.
- Mix cooked lentils with your ground beef for a healthier hamburger patty.
- Put cooked lentils into your spaghetti sauce, chili, or lasagne.
